I want to thank all of the wonderful people who responded to my need for
prayers and encouragement.  Every time I had another needle stick, x-ray
etc., I felt as though there was an ASA angel sitting on my shoulder
making certain it was being done properly.

Today they did another complete A, TO Z blood panel, an echo cardiogram,
and a bone marrow biopsy and bone biopsy of each hip. On Tuesday morning
I go back for a pulmonary test and a head to toe CT body scan with
barium contrast.   They will use the preliminary test results from the
scan and completed tests from all the others to sit down and discuss our
options for treatment.

In the meantime we are reading most of the pamphlets etc. they gave us
about treatment, nutrition etc.  Trying to cover all the bases in the
event they put me in the hospital for treatment rather than doing it on
an out-patient basis. Last year we reviewed and put in order our
finances, wills, living wills, medical directives and power of
attorneys.  I am so glad we updated everything when we were not under an
pressure to revise them quickly.

Thinking of each one of you, as you battle your own medical  and
emotional demons.

And I will be thinking of you. Please let us know how things go, A
stong support system is very important when going through something
like this. We want to support you through it. Also never underestimate
the power of prayer, even if it is not the Christian God to whom you
pray.

Please check the following two websites:
http://www.touched-by-cancer.org/

http://www.cancercarenetwork.com/

My sister (Nursie 1002000) has participated in these ever since she
had her bout with breast cancer.

Cancer care has more participants.

Don, good to hear from you!
My my - so many tests to get the information you need.  Don't forget, the
best treatment plan for you is the one *you* are comfortable with - in most
cases you don't need to make a decision the day you get the results.  It is
very ok to take a day or two to digest the results and expert's advice and
do some more research.

Get plenty of rest and enjoy that barium!  Lol!
