I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth, honest. I've just
been meeting myself coming for the last several months. Around
Thanksgiving or so, Mike and I decided that we wanted to sell our house
and buy something on at least an acre and get away from the Home Owners
Association that governs our community and tells us what we can and
can't do with our property.  We found a house in March and closed on it
in April, but leased it back to the woman we bought it from, so that
she could keep her kids in school until mid-June.  Worked for us
because we didn't want to put this house on the market until mid-May.
Real Estate in Phoenix has gone completely nuts and particularly in the
area of Phoenix in which we live.  Houses are selling in 24-48 hours.
At any rate, ours goes into multiple listing on Tuesday evening,
although after reading Ducky's post, I think I'd rather not move if we
have to go through that.  I'm scared to death that some idiot will
bring their kids over here to preview the house and leave a kid alone
in the back yard with the pool.  Because we have no children under the
age of six living here, we are exempt from having to put in a pool
fence.  I will be so glad when all of this is over with.  As much of a
drag as moving is, the new house is all on one floor and I won't miss
the stairs a bit.

In the meantime, I had a mammogram which showed something abnormal and
had a biopsy done a week ago.  We just got the path report and it is
clear, that G-d!  Like we needed one more thing?

Sir Arthur continues to govern my life of course, but hopefully after
this move I can quit living with lidoderm patches and Kenalog shots in
my hips every 3 months.

Hope everyone is well and healthy and I'll pop in when I can for the
next couple of months until things settle down a bit.

Sounds like several of us are in the same boat, Anne.  Ours goes on the
market June 3rd and I have an endoscopy tomorrow for internal bleeding and
extremely low hb.

Good luck, Hon!

News flash don't anyone sell your house...it causes health problems.

Thanks Anne,,, You go girl.   Go, Do,  Enjoy.  You had better be scared for
the kids.  I have a friend that just such as that ruined a life time of work
and saving.

Glad to hear from you again Anne, Denise called today and I shared your post
with her too. She said she had been wondering how you were doing. So have I.

We are heading to CA where the average house is on the
market for all of 17 days. So it is only here in mass
where all the engineers have been laid off, that
selling a house is a problem. Good luck on your house sale.

thanks for the update and best wishes for surviving it all.  Things have been
rather quiet around here lately, too many people have too much going on, and
it isn't just the folks selling houses!  Don't know about the rest of you
all, but I will be quite ready for that Gimp Picnic in August!
