yes, she does. She responded well to prednisone, had to take it much longer
than the doctor expected, but is down to a fairly low dose now. Our neighbor
has what I think is the same combination as your mom, but she's been a little
vague about the most recent diagnosis (I know it was temporal arteritis
earlier in the process). Anywya, I don't know a lot of detail about it, but
if you know of any specific questions she has, I can try to answer them.
Better here than in email though, I'm getting soo much spam lately that only
truly recoginzed names get read.

my mom had PMR at about age 70. it was awful for her, but it is also
self-limiting. she had it a couple of years (on prednisone), then got
back to doing the hula and line dancing for another fifteen. i wish
your sister good luck.
