Hello everyone I am off to see my new RD. I have waited two months to get into this doc and I hope it will be worth it. I will let you guys know what happens. Maybe he has the perfect cure for fatigue cause it has got me bad these days. Pain has been better, but fatigue has been awful. Cindy I got your card and thank you so much that was so sweet! Sorry I havent been on much but fatigue has played a part in that. Well here it goes! He checked my spine..finally I have a doctor that was taking my spine seriously. I have disk disease? Anyways he gave me a new pain med and I think this will help. He also is sending me to a sleep doc for my fatigue. He thinks there is more to the fatigue than the RA and Lupus. He wants to wait for the biologics until the blood work and sleep study is back. I like him he is willing to help my pain! I have heard that he believes in pain management! Good because I need it. I think I like him, it was a good visit and I felt like I got somewhere. I didn't put down my old RD when he asked why I changed. I just simply said I felt as if he was overbooked and could not give me the care I needed. He understood ( I think he knows him). Could it be degenerative disk disease. I have that also. I sure do hope you get some pain relief. You take care and keep us posted to how you are doing.
