I' begun Relafin and my tongue is a constant irritation - a small sore,
occassionally, can't eat tomatos or anything spicy without discomfort.
Anyone else with this problem with Relafin? Do I just tolerate this tongue
condition since the Relafin has made me very comfortable with my bad hands.
Thanks for your responses,
Hiker

No, you don't just tolerate it. This sounds like an allergic reaction. You
need to call your doctor ASAP. There are plenty of other NSAIDs you can
try.

Hiker,
I had ulcers with Mobic and i took Llysine and acedophalus and it
cleared them up. You can try these or maybe change the meds.

Well, as I recall I had a lot of problems with my tongue while I was taking
Relafen, but really don't recall if it was just then or even if it was the
whole time I was taking it.
One thing to worry about. Your tongue is a pretty good indicator of the
condition of your entire GI tract. The Relafen may be doing more damage to
that than you realize.
Again I don't know that Relafen caused my Barrets, but I doubt it helped.
Sure was great for my joints while it lasted. I can't take any NSAIDS
anymore as they now trigger my bloodpressure and swelling in my feet.
