Just wanted to drop in and say hi.  I've not had the time or energy to
sit at the computer lately, besides working on everyone else's
computers lately is about all the sitting I can take at one time.

It's been really nice since Duane has been back at work regularly
following his accident.  Also, my daughter recently went to work.  My
2 cats and I don't know what to do with the peace and quiet in the
house on the days when everyone's working. :-)

Life is good.  Pain level has been tolerable, but I need to quit
planning up my weeks full of stuff and set aside some time to have my
back surgery.  I'm such a procrastinator. Anyway, just wanted to let
everyone know I'm doing okay and think about you guys all the time.

Hugs and prayers,
Mag

Good to hear that good things are in your life right now...
Glad also to hear that your pain is tolerable...
Praying that you get that back surgery soon...Then maybe there will be less
pain to tolerate...
Sending hugs and prayers

Mag, don't put off taking care of yourself.   Think of all the
difference the back surgery can make for you, and have it done. JMHO>

So glad Duane is back to work now. And thanks for the
update. Thought about you both on the first real day of
spring and saw all the two wheelers on the road. :)
Nothing wrong with peace and quiet - you just need to
get used to it.

Thanks Duckie.  I actually rode my bike down to the beach a week ago,
but spent two days recovering from it. I'll be glad when that's behind
me.  It's good to have a few minutes here and there to pop in and say
hi to everyone.  I have been praying for you and your recovery.  Folks
don't realize what it's like having a weight bearing joint or bone
broken or operated on unless they've been there. Ouch.  :-)  Take good
care.

Good to know that things are going fairly well for you.  Now, go in and
schedule your back surgery for several months hence and block off that part
of your calendar for it.  I know it's a bummer to go through, but think of
the rewards at the other end.  And it will give you an excuse to curl up and
watch lots of movies on DVD (something our bishop says he's been doing
through his recovery from back surgery).

<hanging head> Yes Ma'am. :-)
Actually, I've got a whole backlog of romance novels ready and waiting
for that time.  Even a little bitty fridge I can put next to the bed.
Who needs men?  LOL

Now that's planning!  LOL  well, you might need a male masseuse (damn can't
spell it - you know - massage guy) to help ease the pains of recovery.......
And if you have a TV and DVD player in the room, it might be the ideal time
to sign up with Netflix for a month or two.  (wonder what their record is for
most DVDs watched in a month)

hiya, sweetie.  i missed ya!  sounds like things are finally leveling off
for you.  been a lonnnng haul for you, hon.

i agree with another poster, go ahead and schedule the surgery.   right now,
because of what you've been through, you are probably feeling a little
hesitant about committing, hence procrastinating.  that's understandable,
because you'd been in a heightened autonomic state of alertness, focusing on
duane, for quite awhile.  it takes time to get back to feeling things are
ok, things are safe and that it really is ok to focus on you.  just schedule
and trust it will all work out for you.  if something  comes up, you can
always cancel it, sweetie. (((((((((((((mag))))))))))))

Thanks Kate.  I think that's a great idea.  Our last big event this
summer is planned for July 16, so maybe I'll see if I can get it
scheduled for right after that.  That way, I won't feel like I'm
giving up my entire spring and summer when I do most of the enjoyable
things I look forward to the entire year. :-)
