For those of you who have cats. I just got the most wonderful new cat
grooming device. Its called a Zoom Groom. It about fits in the palm of
your hand. Shaped like a kitty cat and easy to hold. Made out of kind of a
silicone stuff with long soft "teeth" on the working side. It collects the
cat fur pretty well in a kind of electrostatic kind of way. Both my cats
just love it and it gets into places they won't allow a regular brush.
Around their ears and neck and tummies, etc. You just pull the fur off the
brush when you are done in a single mat.

Jo,

Do they have one of those for doggies? We are now into the shedding
season for my little dog. I've never had one before so this is a new
thing for me. We got him when it was cold and he wasn't shedding much.
Now there is hair everywhere.

Well this sounds like a must have in the spring
shedding season. My kitties rarely shed except for now.
I having trouble keeping up with the dust bunnies...
Did you get it at your local pet store or on the internet?

I got it at PetSmart. And while I don't know if there is a doggy version,
I'd just not tell the dog it was shaped like a cat.

That sounds like a cool tool for sure. My kitty has long hair and she gets
bad hairballs. Maybe this would help her. she is getting up in age and I
don't think she grooms like she used to so she needs my help. I wonder if
our local Pets mart has it? I bet they do. Was it reasonable?

About eight dollars. Its really for long haired cats, but works well on
others too. The one I got is bright purple. And they are in hang packages
like cat toys. But near the grooming/nail clipping stuff. The "bristles"
are really long but they are pretty soft.
