Freeway Spill Involves 80-Thousand Pounds Of Chicken
               04-13-2005 8:17 AM

A big rig accident on Interstate 8 near I-805 this morning
left 80 thousand pounds of frozen chicken spread across
the westbound lanes. That caused delays for commuters
headed to the beaches and downtown.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Jim
Bettencourt, it's not known what caused the big rig to
overturn around 6 a.m. The driver was not injured.
