I saw this on the news tonight and I'm very upset about it. I take bextra
in the am and pm and it takes that last bit of pain away. I just picked up
my script of bextra today too. Celebrex and vioxx never worked for me.
What next?

If you have no blood pressure problems or no known heart problems,,,, talk
to your RD about signing a release taking the responsibility off of the
doctor for you taking the medicine.

Supposedly it's being pulled from the pharmacies.

I am one of the fortunate ones, in that I had tried all three: Vioxx,
Celebrex and Bextra, with no success. Now, I'm glad it worked out that way.

Ditto!
When I switched RDs in 2000, the new doc was amazed
that I'd been on nothing except Indocine for 23 years.
Over a period of several month we tried all 3 mentioned
drugs, with no improvement over Indocine. I've now been
on Remicade for 2 years, and I'm not sure it's working. I
have lately discovered minor pains/tenderness in places
I didn't even know existed. <g>
