I am trying so hard to watch my weight, drink water and do all those
healthy things for the baby...but I end up in tears every night because
of the pain...how long should I put up with this..pred isn't doing a
doggone thing for me!!

In my opinion it is time to check with the doctor again Amy!  Too long to
put up with pain - I was hoping that you would go into remission during
pregnancy.  Are you still working outside the home too? I mean as well as
being a mom which is obvious work!

Hugs - wish I could help.

I would say enough is enough! That much pain and stress can't be good for
you or the baby! Time to see the Dr. about this.

Amy have you gotten any of the links I posted before
about Enbrel and pregn.? MaryZ posted one or two as
well. You need to print out those studies and stuff
them under the doctor's nose. Have them call the
doctor's who did the studies. Use a 2X4 if you have to.
Or tell them pissed off Duckie will come deal with
them. rofl
Duckie who is not putting up with anything any more

Amy, How long does it take you to dial the number to your doctor...Maybe put
him on speed dial and that wouldn't be fast enough...I know you have to
worry about the baby, and I am not a doctor, but how good can it be for the
baby when your body is in so much stress from the pain...
Sending you lots of hugs and prayers...

Here's my experience..take it for what it's worth. During the last 5
weeks of my pregnancy I had a pinched nerve running along my ribcage on
my left side. It was excrutiating and kept me from sleeping or doing much
of anything.

I went to my OB and he could literally see how much pain I was having and
gave my Tylenol 3 until I gave birth. While I did fiddle with the
dosing..always taking less then prescribed...I did take them.

I think it's past time for a call to the doc, sweetie. Why suffer if you
don't have to? As I always say..better living thru chemistry.

Good luck!
