I went out like normal to run some errands. My feet started to feel a
burning sensation (top and bottom of feet). When I got home I took off
my socks and got some relief, however the feeling didn't go completely
away. I seem to also have that feeling elsewhere (like I would feel if
I was wearing scratchy material), not as bad but still weird. I
decreased my methylprednisolone and changed my Enbrel shot to the once
a week shot about three weeks ago. Otherwise I have not changed my
medications. The only other thing I've changed I just switched from
Dove (Sensitive Skin) to Dove (Cool Moisture). I can't think any of
this could have caused this problem. This is really weird.
Has anyone experience this?

Athena: I have peripheral neuropathy and that first showed up as
burning in my feet and it didn't matter if I was walking or sitting.
You might mention this to your doctor because there could be many
reasons for it.

It is the biggest reason I wear Birks all the time now.
The cushioning the cork in the Birks gives me stops
that awful errand pounding. Something to do with the
padding in the feet disappearing due to the RA. Ice
water in a bucket and dunk the feet will help. Of
course that hurts too but changes how things hurt. I
also make sure my feet get a rest above my hip line.
Sounds like the reduction is not working for you. don't
let it go on too long as it is hard to get Arthur back
in control.

> I'm not diabetic. I'm hoping it's just one of those weird things
that happen to us every once and awhile. I'm leaving for Chicago
tomorrow, I'll be back on Monday, hopefully I'll be better by then.
