Has anyone taken Neurontin for pain? I once took it for pain and quit, but I
would like to start again to see if it would help me right now with all the
pain I have had in my hands, feet, and legs. Any ideas?

I take it nightly for restless legs. I really love that
pill.

So do I.  It has been a godsend for me as it has allowed me to get some
sleep in spite of chronic pain.  I love it too Duckie.

I take 100 mg of Trazodone at bedtime & it has greatly helps me get to
sleep. Has anyone had experience with both Neurontin & Trazodone (not taken
at the same time of course)? How do they compare?

Me, too! Me, too! It does wonders for the nerve discomfort when I drive and
also my sciatica, when it kicks up.

But I can't take it at the level prescribed (300 mg at night, 3 100 mg doses
every 6 hours during the day); it's just too much for me and I become a
zombie. I do take 100 mg every 4-6 hours, when I do need it.

I take the 300 mg at night.  My doc asked me to try taking one in the
morning too but it turned me into a zombie also.  I am back to one of them
before bed time.

I think I will restart it tonight then. I stopped taking it a year ago when
it made me feel like a zombie. I really need it now. I called my PCP and he
gave me the OK.  I remember it really helped me sleep at night especially
when my legs would hurt.

I took 1-100 mg last night and was wired until 4:30 am. Got up at 8:00 am
and went all day. I guess the prednisone is doing it. I got my labs back
today and my triglycerides are over 450. My HDL was 50 and my doc put me on
Crestor. Dang another pill.
Oh well maybe It will help.

I know how you feel my family doctor started me on another drug that he
said would help my kidneys but the paper work says that it is for high blood
pressure. Like you said,,, dang, another pill.
