lol actually performing this weekend. It is doing
really well. Stronger every day. I might even consider
Samba again and haven't done that in 4 years.
I am back dancing full out and feeling confident. Even
dancing the most demanding chacha routine that is full
of fast spins followed by dead stops. Knee is loving
it. Jimmy asked me tonight if I would do the Spring
Fling -- said he thought I was ready. I would need to
sell a few old dresses in order to afford it but....
Spent the day cleaning computers of fluff; backing up
things I want to keep; reformatting old zip drives;
tossing the ones that wouldn't format [what a waste of
money as 10 went into the trash]. But I reclaimed 15.
Have about 20 more to go through.
Then I have a whole lot of CD burning to do.
After that I need to see if I can get that video
converter to work. Lots of dance videos that take up
lots of room I want to save and keep thinking if I can
get them to DVD, they would take less room. It is on my
list of things to do.
Tomorrow we sign the papers with a real estate company
to put the thing on the market. I think mid April.
Cleaning continues but the basement is filled with
boxes so we are making progress.
We sent 300 paperbacks to Goodwill last week. Seems you
are allowed to take $3 a paperback off next years
taxes; it is $9 per hardback and no -- old
encyclopedias do not count.
Thanks for asking

Our Duckie is just amazing. We should use her as our poster child on what
a person CAN do with enough drive and work. I know I am wasting band width
butttttt, please do not over do. It would be a shame to have a set back.

Cautious me Harv. Really. Wasn't allowed to even begin
to dance until 3 months after the surgery. The fact
that it is getting stronger and stronger is good. Part
of that is also due to the Pilates Reformer. Pilates
has been very good to me. I like the fact that on days
I am starting to flare, I can back off on the amount of
spring weights. Which means, I still go so I don't
loose ground, but back off the weights when my body
complains. Pilates has strengthened my core so much
that my lower spine which is 'osteopina' has stopped
hurting. The muscles surrounding it are so strong now
that things don't shift around as much. It's all good.
Thanks for worrying over my Harv. You waste all the
bandwidth you want. :)

Awesome news all around, Duckie! It makes my heart so glad to know that you
are dancing again and the knee is holding up for you. I hope every moment
brings you happiness.
Good luck with the house sale...it will be so wonderful to have you on this
coast. We occasionally get down to Stockton to see my Dad and SF isn't that
far away. Plus the Portland Gimpfest is coming and I am so looking forward
to it.
Put on the bubblewrap, everybody...I'm a hugger!

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Now that's the kind of update I love to hear! My heart is dancing just
reading about all you are now able to do with confindence! Sure wish I
could be there this weekend to watch you perform. It really is amazing
watching all of you perform. So exciting. Tell Jimmy and all of your
other dance buddies I said hi!
Wow, 300 books! That is a whole lot of books to get rid of. Sounds
like you are definitely making quite the progress on this packing stuff!
Good for you! April/May is a good time to get a house on the market.
Hope it sells quickly for you!
Take good care of that nice new knee, tell John hello, and thanks for
the update!!!
Hugs!
Donna G
PS.....when you move, will you look for a dance studio to get involved
with right away? Sure hope so!
