His wife notified MEMORIES members in FidoNet on
January 10, but I was still catching up from September.
It wasn't until the end of February that I read this notice
and I needed to do some double checking before
posting here.
Thanks to DT for the help.

Max used satxrr.com and earthlink.net accounts.
He was not a prolific poster in ASA as in MEMORIES, where
the group may write about silent films, radio (that's TV without
pictures, for you youngsters), Bob's Big Boy and Farrell's Ice
Cream parlors, Reo, Nash and Packard autos, Jack Benny,
Fibber McGee and Molly, the $64 Question, Shirley Temple,
and hundreds of other subjects from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50s.

Hi--
Truly, condolances to the family.
I looked at the site, but cannot find any graves registration, am I
overlooking something?
Best---

Mary and I had been planning to meet Max and
his family in June 2006 when the National Square
Dance Convention is held in San Antonio.
Hopefully we'll still have an opportunity to meet
his family.
Max died from a heart attack while engaging in
a GPS scavenger hunt. Instead of following
written instructions, participants use GPS to
locate a "buried treasurer."

ummmm . . . are you serious? i mean, that max died in a cemetery while on a
scavenger hunt? i mean, where else would you find a "buried treasurer"?

One of your "gotcha's". How about "buried treasure?"
