The nausea-related side-effects were so pronounced with
me that I eventually just refused to take the stuff any
more. The pity is that it did seem to be making some
difference, but just not enough for me to put up with
feeling sick 2-3 days of every week. A lot of things can
be done to buffer or offset the nausea, but only one of
them seemed to work and there are various reasons why
that one isn't in the running. It's a shame really,
but everything has trade-offs. At this point my treatment
regimen has regressed to where it was 4 years ago, but
my condition is worse than it was then so honestly I'm
not sure what to do now.

The oral MTX made me extremely sick, so my RD put me on injectible. That
has only one side effect that I can tell and that is being tired the next
day (although sometimes it waits an extra day before I get the exhaustion).
Maybe you should try the injectible kind.

Was that with the oral dose? Have you tried the injectable?

My dose is at 15mg/week to start for RA(still up in the air on the
final diagnosis). What I noticed at first was a flu-like body ache and
loss of appetite for about a day after taking my first dose. This was
less and less each week, in fact the second week, it only lasted about
2 hours. I don't have psoriasis but I did notice my winter-dried skin
getting clearer right away. Best of luck, and I hope it treats you
well. BTW, on the fourth week I had no ill effects from the MTX.
