Hope you can update us on how you are doing.
I am so sorry you have been put thru the wringer with this latest mishap. I
know how frustrating it can be when something is happening to you and the
drs keep pushing you off onto other drs and don't do a thing about it.
When I read your ost about the Remicade, I was thinking reaction, heart, or
dehydration. I sure hope you got an answer by now about it.
Hugs and TLC to you. When you can please let us know how you are doing.

I am doing ok thanks for asking.
I am almost thinking it was a reaction to the remicade. I was reading and
some of those symptoms match exactly to what was happening. I also ended up
with pneumonia and have been under the weather lately. I am better now. I am
starting to look forward to spring and deciding what I want to plant this
year. I was in kind of a depressed mood there for awhile due to feeling
awful for so long and dealing with the death of my grandpa to cancer. My
family doc put me on welbutrin to see if that can help me a bit. Its only
temporary cause he says he doesn't like to leave someone on it for a
longtime after they get over the slump. Tomorrow is March 1st and Easter is
around the corner. This is my favorite time of year. I went last Friday and
bought me some pretties for the house and some new house plants since I
killed the ones I had when we bought our house last September. Thank
goodness for tax returns..:o) I go for Remicade next week on the 7th and I
will talk this over with RD before I get this again. I think I might need to
be treated with some Benadryl before hand. I found out my ins pays better
for Enbrel than the remicade. I will look into that too. I hope things are
going well for you and I saw that you and your hubby are doing very very
well..things are looking up! I am long winded tonight.

Hi Rhonda, I hope things continue to improve for you. I took a small
steroid shot with my last two Remicade treatments to help with a reaction I
was having and it helped. The reason your insurance likes Enbrel is that
it costs about half as much. Its all about money with insurance co's. IMO

Yeah, I priced it and it would run me 120.00 a month co-pay. Remicade is now
a copay of 20 percent of 5000.00.

I hope it was just a quirk with the med and that it doesn't happen again.
Glad to hear you are over the pnemonia. Hope you recovery is complete.
Have fun getting things for the house and planting time.
Glad things are looking somewhat up. I am sorry to hear about your grandpa.
I am sure it will get easier with each day. At least I hope it will.

it's been such a rough go for you, rhonda. anyone would become vulnerable
to being depressed by the loss you sustained and the chaos that illness
brings with it. it is goodness to know that your long windedness<warm
smile--- not seeing "long winded" in your response at all> has been
generated by the positive turning of events and your spirit towards spring
and its newness.
wishing you restored health and lovely blooms in springtime.
