Oh, I've been "doing". MTX is still controlling my PA. I'm down to 20mg from
25, and seem to be holding well. I fired my RD for chickening out on Enbrel
(he had a patient go septic on him and die, so he's now afraid of Enbrel and
won't prescribe it unless ALL else fails. I figger I can get that kind of
abuse from my GP! LOL!)

feets are good, fingers holding out fine. I guess I"m an MTX success story!
Thanks for ax-in!

How have YOU bean??

Uv,

This sounds good with the MTX working for you like that.

Thank you also for the words to the song. That was very kind of you.

Been good except for a virus I picked up which knocked
me on my back. Fatigue only -- guess I should be grateful.
I got a new knee back in November and it is treating me
very well.
Have you found a new RD since you fired the last one?

no, I'm not looking for a new RD until either the MTX stops working or I go
into a flare. I was seeing him quarterly just to have him tell me that I was
doing fine, and to tease me with the possibility of going on Enbrel. My PCP
feels confident that he can keep up with my bloodwork and scripts better
anyway because I see him for so many other things, we're in better contact,
AND he has access to all the RD'buddies' that he can consult if he feels
he's in over his head. And if he ever gets in over his head, he'll just
refer me anyway, he ain't shy about pushing me toward someone with more
knowledge. This is basically my call, and he's going along to humor me, I
think.

It's hard to find good doctors nowerdays, and I think I found me a GREAT
doctor!!!!

I think you have found one too. I love a guy who knows
what he doesn't know and not ashamed to admit it.

On the Commode Again (sung to the tune of "On the Road Again"

On the commode again
I can't believe I'm on the commode again
Some people call it makin' music with your rear end
And I can't believe I'm on the commode again

On the commode again
Goin' in places that I've never been
Seein' things I hope I never see again
And I can't believe I'm on the commode again
On the commode again
On the can the john the throne the loo the crapper
For all this time I spend
I've read everything from novels to knee-slappers
And tampon wrappers

On the commode again
Passing the time on the commode again
Hope no one hears the music comin' from my rear end
I can't believe I'm on the commode again
On the commode again
It can really be a problem on the highway
We're improvising then
Behind a tree or bush
All I need's a little privacy
And some TP

'Til we find a commode again
I just can't wait to get on the commode again
I'd rather be out on the trampoline with my friends
But I can't wait to get on the commode again
No I can't wait to get on the commode again
