I just put a new picture of Keeper and Jet on my blog. Jet's nearly 7
months, the age Keeper was when i got him. remember how worried i was
about getting a second pup? no regrets!

just gorgeous!

my friends used to make fun of keeper because he was very funny looking
when i got him. now they're eating their words. one of them (a wealthy
fur-wearer) saw him and immediately wanted his "pelt" for a coat!

Hope you smacked him up 'side the head! Grrrrrrr, as if you'd hurt your
little boy.

Diane,
They are beautiful. I know you are so proud of them. How is John doing?
I'm sure he appreciates all you've done for him.
I enjoyed reading some of your blog. Like you I am one to listen to others
conversation in public places when they are loud enough to hear. It's
amazing how loud people will talk and what they talk about. Maybe it is
something us writers are just destin to do. LOL

Are they behaving well now? Hope the older one hasn't
taught the newer all his bad tricks. lol
I kept popping up and down when the painters were here
and finally one guy says to me -- that cat is a lot of
work. Yes he is but when he settles down he is a sweetie.

it's really the little one who's taught the big one the naughty tricks.
but actually, they are good guys when i keep an eye on them. my biggest
problem is that jet gets horribly carsick, even if i go a straight
mile. it's made it very hard to get him out and socialized. we've
started obedience class and i think he's going to be a little star. of
course after i give him all those treats in class, he throws up on the
way home. . .

Might be time to look into doggie Dramamine. I sure hope he outgrows it the
way lots of little boys do.

Can you break the treats into tiny pieces? I also notice at the dog
shows the treats the trainers use are really small. It might be that the
treats are just too much for his tummy, so maybe you could check with
the vet or someone at the obedience school to see if there is one that
is smaller and lighter?

Oh, Diane, those little guys are just beautiful!!! Remind me again
what their age difference is as they look almost the same size in the
pics!
Sure hope Jet can outgrow the car sickness. How does keeper do with
riding? Do they keep your feet warm when you are sitting at your desk
writing?<bg>
Thanks so much for sharing with us!

i use tiny little pieces of stuff as treats. that's not really the
problem. he will throw up even if his tummy is empty. keeper
occasionally gets sick, but not like this. i feel so sorry for the poor
little guy.
donna, keeper is 1 1/2 years and jet is 7 months. i'll take a better
pix soon so you can see the size difference.

I trained my dogs using dry cat food for treats. They were small dogs and
tiny treats were hard to find. And they would do anything for cat kibble.
Just had to be sure they didn't get very many of them. To be honest they
would do nearly anything if I had cat kibble in my pocket.

ok. i get confused easily---just which one is precious and which one is
adorable?<smile> they're so cute. "no regrets" is the way life should be.
i like knowing that's true for you, diane.
