A good piece of chocolate has about 200 calories. As I enjoy 2 servings per
night, and a few more on weekends. I consume 3,500 calories of  chocolate in
a week, which equals one pound of weight per week.

Therefore...
In the last 3 1/2 years, I have had chocolate caloric intake of about 180
pounds, and I only weigh 155 pounds, so without chocolate, I would have
wasted away to nothing about 3 months ago!

I owe my life to chocolate.

An ounce of dark chocolate a day may actually be good for you.** You
need to look for the dark chocolate with more than 62% cocoa, but dark
chocolate has powerful flavonoids that keep cholesterol from gathering
in blood vessels, reduce the risk of blood clots, and slow down the
immune responses that lead to clogged arteries. Unfortunately, milk
chocolate seems to not have the same benefits.

But, then we always knew deep down that dark chocolate was good for us.

I think we owe it to the population at large to conduct an in-depth study.
I'll bet if we all have more than an ounce, we'll all feel MUCH better!

We must conduct a blind study of this phenomenon.  I'm sure
we would have no problem recruiting volunteers.

... Fourteen of every ten people like chocolate.

Here is the place Mary and I visited this afternoon.
It's located on Olde U.S. 80, now bypassed by I-8.

I was first introduced to Wisteria ca. 1948 when dad
treated the family to back country trips each weekend.

We drop in about once a quarter, whenever we're
in that area of the county.  I also use this place for
Secret Sender gifts.  <g>
