Had my call today Rosie, and we talked quite a while. She is to let me know
what day it will be in the USA Today.

Very kewl, Gwen! I got a call from the Orlando photographer and sometime
this weekend they'll be down to take pix. Me with my bottle o' Bextra and
this NG on the monitor screen is what they want. I wanna have one of the
cats in the picture, too. :-) My sons are beaucoup excited.
I've got everything crossed that they present us in a positive light. We
did get to keep our Cox-II's so it's gotta be a good news story, right? I'm
glad you'll be in the article, Gwen m'dear! I'll bet you were nicer about
the media than I was! LOL
Hugs from Rosie

Yes, definitely let us all know when the article is going to come out.
I would love to read it and see the pics!!!
BTW, was watching CNN today and there was some people testifying about
vioxx and some of the other cox 2 meds and there was a lady testifying
by the name of Gloria. Can't remember the last name, but just couldn't
help but wonder if it was maybe Gloria from here that posts every now
and then. Anyone know what her last name is? Anyone know if she is
involved in testifying about the cox 2's? I know she has been featured
in Arthritis Today magazine and has done other advocating, so am just
curious!

Gloria is the Enbrel lady - doubt she would be talking about the Cox-2's.

Sometimes you can get them to reserve a copy for you
and pick it up when you get there as opposed to that
very day.

Thanks Rosie for that info and glad you have contact with her!
Gwen, yes, I know that Gloria is our poster child for Enbrel, but that
doesn't mean she doesn't take an nsaid of some sort and she has been an
advocate for other things for arthritis and has been featured a few
times in AT and other publications. Since I knew she has that advocacy
tendency in her, I just immediately though of her when I saw this lady
on CNN or CSPAN or whatever it was!
