donna, you've been missed and it's soooooooooooo good to see/hear you!
thanks for asking about john. it turns out the c. diff was probably not
the right diagnosis, although the right diagnosis has never been
determined. this is his fifth week of fever, but it is much better.
he's never left my house (except when he was in the hospital) since
that friday night i asked here if i should let him come stay with a
"cold" so he didn't get snowed in. unbelievable! i couldn't have
imagined then what this turned into.
the best diagnosis is that the antibiotic for a sinus infection
brought the crohns colitis out of remission in a big way. that is now
under fairly good control. he's had five million sorts of tests and
they still don't know what's caused/causing the fever. i just hope he
continues to improve. for a while, it was like living with his shadow.
thanks again for asking,
diane

Wow, Diane, I'm sorry to hear that John is still sick and spiking
fevers. He has got to be just exhausted, not to mention a tad
frustrated with not having a clear diagnosis!!! Is he on any kind of
dmard or anything for the chrons?
Continuing to lift him, and you, up in prayer! Sure hope he gets to
feeling better real soon and can get back to some semblance of normal.
Thanks for taking the time out to update me!
Hugs!
Donna G
