Hey Harv,

Am wondering how you are coming along and how you are feeling these
days?

How did your last visit with the doc go?   Has there been any
improvement in things for you?   How much longer do you have to be on
those nasty TB meds?   Will you be able to start right back on the
Enbrel as soon as you finish the TB meds?   Have you been able to clear
the pneumonia???

Just thinking of you and wanting to hear an update on how you are doing
my friend!!!

Hugs!

Better and better but it has been soooo slow in getting my lungs to clear
up.   Thank goodness my family doctor jumped on what was going on there with
both feet.  Anti-bio shot and two different prescriptions  and I have taken
all of one and still taking the other for about another week or so.
Someone in the newsgroup gave me a suggestion for helping clear my ears up
and help with being dizzy and I am still taking Sudafed and like you my
hearing is coming back slowly.

> How did your last visit with the doc go?

My last visit with my RD got me changed from Remicade to Enbrel with steroid
shots in both shoulders.

> Has there been any improvement in things for you?
I am improving on every front.

>  How much longer do you have to be on those nasty TB meds?

OOooh, I have about 7 more months on the TB medicine.   It ended up the
medicine does not bother me at all.  It just so happened that my walking
phewmonia (monia with no fever) hit me at the same time I started the
medicine and like with DMARDs,,,, I blamed the new medicine for how I
felt......  Wrong,,wrong wrong....but who knew???

Will you be able to start right back on the Enbrel as soon as you finish
the TB meds?

I told my RD that my problems do not get along.   type 2 diabetes, TB and
DMARDS for RA.   He smiled and said,,,, I hear that sooo much but its better
to know and do as much as a person can for each problem.   There are always
blessings to be found when we look for them.   I can continue to take Enbrel
as I fight TB and the blessing is I have found out that I can take it every
other week without going into a flare so far.   I will continue to other the
same amount each month and build a stockpile tward 4 years from now when I
will no longer have insurance by rotation and using the oldest first.

Have you been able to clear the pneumonia???
Yes.....

Oh Harv, I am thrilled to read your update and find out that the TB meds
are no longer giving you problems.   That is such good news!!!  Glad you
were able to get that sorted out.   Also very happy for you that you
were able to resume your dmards!!!  Happy, happy, happy dancing for
you!!!   Your update really makes me smile---I am so thankful to hear
you are doing better on all fronts.

May you just continue to get better and better with each passing day and
may you have no more problems for a very, very long time!!!

Hugs and prayers as always!
