Been on Enbrel 5 years now and the weight gain was caused by
over-consumption.:o)

Unequivocably no.  I have had such a huge pred weight gain and since
beginning enbrel I had lost 10 pounds over a seven month period.  I
gained that back while on pred while i was in thailand last month.
Lost a few getting back and going back on enbrel

Charlie,
Enbrel caused me to retain fluid which did cause a weight gain. It was
obviously fluid though, extremely swollen lower legs and feet.
