I want to thank everyone for the prayers and positive energy they sent.
I never thought I'd make it through that test this morning. I was an
absolute basket case yesterday. But I did :-)  The people at the
hospital were so wonderful. They took very good care of me and I
couldn't have asked for better care. They were the best!

The preliminary results of the test didn't show any surprises. I have a
weak heart, and now my doctor is devising a plan of action. He has me on
a number of different medications and is monitoring me very closely. So
I know I'm in good hands.  They've extended my short term disability to
the end of the month, but that may change. He wants to see how I do on
these medications.

This is one woman who is SO glad it's over with :)

Hugsies,
Carole :)

I'm glad for you.  Sounds like you are on the right track.  And getting the
treatment you need.  Its never lucky to have a heart problem, but it sounds
like you may have been very lucky to get this diagnosed and treated now.

May this be one problem that is controllable.

I am glad you are on the other side of all that. Rest
and recover.

I know that having heart problems isn't the best news but it sounds
like you are getting the best medical care possible and that's half the
battle.
Sending good vibes your way,
Lisa

Crappy results but it is great they are doing something!   Many women
are under treated for the cardio issues, it is good they are taking
you seriously.  -- MZ

{{{{{{{Carole}}}}}}}  Hang in there, hon.  At least they're paying attention
to you and not giving you the old "There, there, lady.  You're fine."  I get
sooooooo tired of that.

I had to come looking for info on your cath before I go to bed.  I am so glad
there were no surprises, though one or two NICE surprises would have been ok.
I hope your doc can maximize things for you.  It should help you feel so
much better.  Sigh a deep sigh and rest comfortably tonight.

Hang in there!
Like someone else said, at least they are taking your condition seriously.
Many women with cardiac issues aren't that lucky.

Get some rest!

Thanks, everyone. I am hanging in and doing OK at this point. I do think
I will sleep a LOT better tonight than I did last night :-)  I was so
nervous last night that I think I got about 2 hours sleep, if that much.
I have an appointment with the cardiologist on Tuesday, so I'll get to
know the full results then.

Hugs and Love,
Carole :)

I should have read farther before I posted so I would know you're home and
okay.
So glad you had a good experience with folks at the hospital, and also glad
the test is over.  Surely hope and pray the medications will be just what
you need.
