Just wondered if anyone has heard from Donna G.?  She must be in the
hospital.  The last time she was in, she was there for 8 days with the
whooping cough.  And that was not that long ago.  I talked to her a
couple of days after she was home and heard from her via email a
couple of weeks ago, but nothing since.  I'm worried about her and
thought maybe someone had heard from her....maybe Rosie.  Rosie had
talked to her the last time she was gone for awhile, but I know Rose
hasn't been feeling well.  I called her today and got the answering
machine.  I left a message and told her that I was thinking about her.

I wish there was someone who I could call to find out how she's doing.
I hate not being able to find out what's going on.  Does anyone know
of someone we can contact?

you know, I was thinking just a couple of days ago that since her niece
graduated we haven't had someone to let us know when she is admitted.  I
don't know what to do this time, but we need to ask her about someone one of
us can call in future when this happens.

The one thing I can think of to do is to call the hospital she usually goes
to and ask to be connected to her room.  I think they can still do that much
without violating privacy regulations.  I assume she goes to the U of M
hospital if anyone can follow up on doing that.  I'm on day four of a very
busy week and wouldn't ahve time until Saturday.

Is that U of Maryland, or Mississippi, or Missouri, or what?  And what is
her last name?

Michigan. I think she lives in Ann Arbor. I have saved email with her
last name, but it's on my home computer.

couple of blocks from where she lives.  i'm going to use mapquest with her
address and see if i can spot the hospital on the map to her house.  will
let you know if i spot it and which hospital it is.

it looks like the closest hospital to donnag is st. joseph's mercy hospital
(about 1.2 miles from where she lives), as far as i can tell.  that hospital
phone number is:  734-913-8119.  anybody live nearby?

Kate, I'm not sure that's the hospital.  Her RD's hospital is the U of
M hospital, but I'm not sure about her lung doctor.  And she'd most
likely be in her lung doc's hospital.

I have her last name.  If you email me, I'll give it to you Walt.
This is what I know.  I last heard from her on February 7th.  She had
an appt. to have a bronchoscopy on the 9th, which she was very worried
about.  She has a hard time with them and sometimes her asthma reacts
strongly to that test.  She still didn't feel well and was still
having some trouble breathing from the whooping cough.  Her lung doc
was also possibly going to order more invasive tests, after he saw the
results of bronchoscopy.  She was concerned about that, too.
I talked to her, I believe that weekend before the 7th.  And I've not
heard from her since.
I'm pretty sure it's the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor,
but even if you do call, I'm not sure she'll be able to talk or will
even answer the phone.  When her lungs are bad, she can't even talk.

Well, I'll tell you guys this!  I will be getting a phone number from
her.  Her best friend in Ann Arbor is like a sister to her and I think
Donna needs to give someone her phone number.   Everytime she goes
into the hospital, I worry like this.....and when she said she was
worried about this, that made me worry all the more.
It's one thing if she goes into the hospital for a couple of days, but
the last time it was 8 days and this time it may be even longer if
she's been in for as long as I think she has.

In the US, you have to be sick enough to die anymore to be
hospitalized overnight, let alone for 8 days!!  As many times as she's
been in the hospital, she specifically mentioned that she was in for 8
days and had never been in that long before.
Thanks you guys!!  I was concerned that no one would reply to this!!

I called last week? think it was and left a message.
She always calls me back but has not. Does anyone know
her brother's number? Oh, has anyone written? Maybe
someone is picking up her mail and would let us know...
