I keep hoping that Mary would know to let us know if
something was wrong with the chief. Wonder why he
wouldn't use hers just to post... Maybe they are on
vacation which he told us about and we like all good
children just didn't listen.

We were sharing one computer until she went off the deep
end and decided she needed a faster, more powerful one
with lots and lots of more memory.

She got a bunch of junk and the bastard who built it and
soaked her a month's pay (Mary works 4 days a week
if we aren't traveling) didn't even include a mouse or new
keyboard......and it ain't worked yet.   <g>

Meanwhile, today I just swapped the modem cable from
that expensive pile-of-nothing to my computer and VIOLA,
got back e-mail and the group back.

And we've done some traveling.  Last weekend we
were in Yuma for the annual square dance festival.
The weekend before, there was another local 3-day
festival.  Another is coming up in Indio (Palm Springs
area).  And Bakersfield.

All the desert areas are holding them early before
the weather warms things up unpleasantly.  <g>
