Geesh.....

I made my way across HOUSTON to the lung doc.  He reads my test and tells me
it is lung inflammation due to lupus!  Damn, didn't I say that already?
They believe the inflammation is out of hand due the stopping of my Bextra
at Christmas time.  I have pleural wall thickening...whatever that may mean
(gonna google it now)

The kicker?  He didn't do a single thing about any of it.  He kicked my back
to my RD.

Quick recap:  2.5 days in hosp for heart test (not a single lung test), 3
weeks on a recliner in pain (no meds given, except by hubby), A nice $$$$$
round of lung testing to prove what I said all along, and needing a cane and
scooter to get to the potty cause of shortness of breath.....

And I feel just as badly today as I did 3 weeks ago.

I see the RD in morning...I will save what air I have in my puny lungs till
then...then I will unleash!

I am totally fed up with this medical process...I told them NO MORE
tests...they only lighten my wallet.  The lung doc was joke.  I had to
explain the difference between the cox1 and cox2 drugs to him?!

My chest is killing me...

Thanks for listening .....

Yikes!!!  that sounds awful sometimes those specialists get so
specialized the big picture just passes them by.   Makes you wonder
who is  looking out for the complete person.  Whine away you earned it
today, cheese and crackers?  -- MZ

That sounds so frustrating.  I'd be annoyed with the lung doc too!  Put a
picture of him on your dart board tonight ;)

(((((Janet))))))) I totally understand!!!!!!!!
Now you should charge him for having to explain to him the dif between cox1
and cox2 drugs...lol... Your knowledge is valuable and he got a freebe!!!!
I am not sure what to think about these drs.. Do they teach them how to pass
the buck in med school is it a prerequisite for "its all in your head
class".??? Not to mention you should send him a bill for how much it cost
you in gas for driving across Houston and for the time you spent explaining
this to him. Geeeeezzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!. I have to ask if you have experienced a
doc with the God complex?
I see a new doc Thursday for all these problems I have been having with
chest pain... I am trying a new angle and seeing if this doc is any good.. I
have heard allot about her that she is very thoughough.

Have all the cheese you want with your whine.
