I received a Christmas card from Donna G. today. It was postmarked 13 Dec., and
again 3 Feb. It was slow, but the mail did get through! :-)
It's rather nice to get cards after Christmas. Thanks, Donna.

sounds familiar. We've been having a lot of problems with our mail lately,
including a rent check that was mailed 10 days ago and hasn't gotten to us
yet. Management company says it hasn't been cashed. Post office is on
alert. Then there's the benefits statements from our insurance that took 2
weeks to get here from Detroit. Heck, I could walk it in that time!

I guess you get that no matter where you are. I had a birthday card from
less than 50 miles away that took just over a year to get to me... and then
there was the gift from London that was mailed for my 12th birthday... and
got to me just in time for my 21st (but enjoyed it anyway!).
