Well, the last time I tried to download that (with Agent), my ISP said
they didn't "support" that (it's broadband), and I could never make it
work. However, I've since gotten a new tower, so will have to try
again.
Am I correct that I should download Mozilla AND Firefox before
downloading Agent and signing up with "German" server?

Doug set me up with my own direct account with giganews. Can satisfy my
compulsion now. (checking in here)
I don't like posting through Google because I couldn't figure out if they
would let my munge the return address (yes, I'm computer illiterate. I can't
do *everything* well! ;-) )
I have Mozilla and OE running and bounce between the two. I'm just used to
the OE format, buttons, etc and tend to use that out of habit.

I haven't figured out how "munge" an address through Google. Not to
say it can't be done, but if it can be, it isn't easy to find out how.
Which is why I have the "bogus" account for it.

I also seldom post on Google for that reason. I started using Mozilla
Thunderbird and Firefox, but still use OE for the newsgroups because I
like that I can completely delete the threads I don't want instead of
just marking them read.
