Well, they did it. I can no longer access newsgroups thru AOL. But with my Gmail account I think I will be ok. The new me is Mama Char@gmail.com. Char > Well, they did it. Open an account from one of the free services then use that account name. Use your ISP account for everything else. Gmail can become your internet account. -- MZ Visit my website: http://www.mzuschlag.com Hmmm...I've read at talkaboutsupport before, but, didn't know you could post thru there til just now. It's not as fast as google. But, it's simple to use and will do in a pinch. Yet another alternative until I figure out what ISP to switch to. You have to register and provide a valid email address so they can mail your password to you. Once you login, you can change it. Also allowed me to change the email address I wanted posted. I switched it to my new gmail. Plan on using that only for newsgroups to keep spam out of my regular mailbox.
