It has been awhile. How is everyone?
well for the last 5 months Dale and I have been foster parents for our 2
grandchildren 7 mos and a 2 1/2 yr old.
today the kids got to go home to their parents. It was hard to beleive the
lil devils were here that long. And I know now that I am old!!! My own
babies were 15 months apart and I don;t remember it being this hard. And I
am telling you this was hard! I guess the thing was that back in the day I
wasn't working so I didn.t have that to juggle and I had my mother to help
me if I needed it. We had a wonderful caring day care provider who took
those boys under her wing.
And wouldn't you know that the day they go home the oldest got the A
influenza!!! The baby turns 1 Friday.
Funny I am going to miss them. Cole was always hugging me and telling me
how much he loves us and misses us....
And I would do it all over again.

Welcome back! I don't know how you did it... one day with a two-year-old is
enough to send me straight for my pillow. Still, I can imagine there is a
huge vacuum now that they have left. Hoping you have many memories to
treasure.

Hi Kathy, Welcome back,,,,, and I loved your post with what you had to
say. Its about family and the love of a grandmother. Yes, I know you
would do it all over again. It does not matter the reason your help was
needed. You were there when you were needed and Cole will always have
those hugs for you. Priceless.....
