My Doctor is now wanting to give me injections of MTX instead of oral. I had been taken off of the oral due to stomach problems. The mtx is more effective and there are less side effects. Go for it. The stomach problems ceased as soon as I switched. BUT....I can no longer get MTX injectable due to the shortage and had to go back to oral. I had to stop the pill for the same reason, and it seems now that I get more of the benefits on it thatn before.
