Hey Jo, have you looked outside today? Its really bright out. If I
remember right that big light thing in the sky is called the sun. My cats
are rolling in the light places on the lawn and refuse to come back in the
house. Charlie went outside yesterday and stayed a very long time. He had
dirt on his hands every time he came back in.
I hereby solemnly swear I will go out and sit in a chair in the bright for
at least 10 minutes. Might even do it twice. Guess that means I ought to
get dressed today too.
As the song says "Here comes the Sun" and the kind of absolutely beautiful
days this valley really only gets in the spring.

Yeah I saw the brightness. I went and hid in my hole. Ooopppsss that is what
groundhogs do not squirrels. ;-)
We just had some really sunny days the last couple. Did the tornadoes hit
anywhere close to you the other day.

A couple hit the northern part of my county 12 days ago.

I heard that one touched the roof of a Michael's store in Natomas. That is
the north suburb of Sacramento and about a mile from my daughters house.
There were some good funnel cloud pictures in the paper the next day, but I
don't believe there was too much damage anywhere.

From what we were hearing it was 3 tornados and a funnel cloud that hit
Sacramento. then the next night we heard they hit in Yolo county.
Oh Chief, hope it wasn't too bad down your way. We seem to be getting your
weather up here a day or two later.
