actually, my family doesn't send flowers, or does so very rarely.  Tehy
settle for visiting and calling and taking care of what needs doing and other
such stuff that means a lot more to me than flowers!

heehee, in fact when my mom had her TKR rather than send her flowers or
candy, neither of which she really wanted, I sent her some primo dried fruit.
It really worked out well as they kept forgetting to send fruit when she
ordered cereal, milk & fruit for breakfast.  So she cut up the dried bananas
and added them to the fruit.

I tell my hubby and family NOT to send flowers.  I have to tote them
home...they costs money...and I would rather have help at home, if
needed.

But that's just me...I'm not a big flower person.

Not in my family it doesn't.  I'm pretty sure everyone I'm related to is
allergic to something.
