I need to get in to see my RD tomorrow. My lupus has flared since Wednesday. I have pleurisy and pericarditis symptoms. My left knee feels like a bowling ball I have to drag along. I broke down and popped 20mg of pred last night....wow, I can breathe again. I hate taking pred. I can never just wean off...it takes months :( My doc knows I would take it only if really needed and my heart was hurting, as was my lungs. Fortunately my RD is very good about getting me in ASAP. I have orders to get admitted, but my husband (a doc) and my doc are talking about whether it is really necessary. So I am waiting to get a call back from one of them. I have some lung inflammation and my heart hurts....hurts to breathe, bad dry cough. yadda yadda. For now I am going to lay on recliner with the heater on myself.
