Been on a roll lately.
Blizzard on Friday night/Saturday. Not too bad as I think we only had about
8" of snow. Snowblower rope broke and could only shovel a little. Still have
much frozen in my parking slab.
Saturday morning woke to no water from the taps. Didn't know if the pipes
were froze or the park had a problem. Tried calling the office, but they
were closed so I left a message. Now my pipes didn't freeze during a week of
10F and less so I could see no reason for them to do so now.
Saturday evening my computer monitor burned a resistor inside of it. What a
wonderful smell that creates! I now own a new 17" lcd at $280. It is my
Christmas present to myself now. I was leaning toward a lazyboy. Not any
more.
Sunday we still had no water. Went to the Lodge to watch the football games
and play some cards. 8pm last night put my key in the ignition and the thing
was siezed up. Could turn the key no matter what I did!! #$%@##$
Got a ride home. Water was back on for some reason so that was a plus.
Called a mechanic this a.m. to have the truck looked at. Find out later.
The bright side of the coin is "it can only get better from here out"!
