yup, the bread and milk has disappeared from the grocery store shelves,
so you know we're in for it here in virginia. 6-10 inches tomorrow. i
will be trapped alone at home with two crazy dogs. and i just realized.
. . i have no chocolate!!!!!!!!

But dogs aren't supposed to have chocolate!
Laughing and hoping you don't have to go out and drive in it. The very
first time my parents let me take the car, I had to drive home from Silver
Spring to Rockville in a heavy snowstorm. Its a wonder they lived as long
as they did.

no chocolate! Oh no! but 6-10 inches is just kinda a normal storm, isn't
it? We've had several that size this year, but had those blasted thaws as
well. No 3 foot snowfalls like those nor'easters dump in New England.

We are in the path of a Nor'easter in RI. They are forcasting 12 to 18"
or more starting tomorrow afternoon. I went by the market today and
said to heck with it when I saw the crowded parking lot, but will run
out for a few munchies tomorrow morning. Since they are saying blizzard
conditions with high winds are possible, I'm just hoping the electricity
stays on or we will be in real trouble with no heat in the house.
Florida is sounding better and better if I could get over the phobia
about the palmetto bugs.

My daughter is taking my dog for the weekend 'cause I might not be able
to walk him in the kind of snowstorm we're facing (I'm in New Jersey). I
don't have a yard I can turn him loose in for his "business".
I'm stocked up except for bread but I can live without it. Just eat
peanut butter off a spoon. ;-)
The chocolate? Now that *is* an emergency situation!

I can relate, Diane. We're getting it in Ohio too. 6-12 inches by
tomorrow evening. And I'm stuck in my house with 2 crazy big dogs!!
Although, my poor dogs have been victims of my bad mood due to me
being in a flare with my hurting arm!! I've been grouching at them
for a few days now!! I even have chocolate here and I'm still
grouchy!! It's just been too many days stuck in the house.
BTW, I've been reading Keeper of the Light. I'm heading to bed right
now to read. I'm hooked on it!!! Donna G. lent me her copy and the
two that follow. So, I'll be reading while the snow's falling!!
Stay warm, Diane!!

hi carol,
wow, i'm happy to hear you're reading Keeper! i hope you enjoy it.
only sleet so far this morning, so i made it to the post office and
then to starbucks, while poor john suffers in my guest room with his
fever/malaise. he's really sick and i'm glad i got him over here. i'm
washing my hands ever two minutes.
i forgot to get chocolate while i was out this morning. i'm an idiot! i
do have pumpkin pie, though. and cool whip.

Hi Diane,
I love the book!! I'm about halfway through and I already know that
I'll be glad to have the sequels!! If it wasn't for the good movies
that were on Lifetime today and my handheld Tretis game, I'd have be
into the 2nd book by now. I've got to hide the Tretis game or I'm
going to go haywire!!
I couldn't get online at all today....I think the weather must have
messed something up with my ISP.
That is so nice of you to take John in. I hope you don't get the bug
that he has!!
You poor thing....no chocolate!! I've had a couple of hershey kisses
early today, but that was it for the chocolate. I haven't had much of
an appetite lately....with the cough I have and so little activity,
food doesn't taste too good right now....and that's a miracle!!
We have at least 8 inches of snow on the ground and it's still
snowing.....also the wind is blowing furiously. I can't see the
street in front of my house. I feel bad for my poor dogs who have to
venture out to do their business!!
Take care of yourself!! And I hope John is better soon!
