I have a busy weekend planned with birthday celebrations (youngest
grandchild will be 2 already, and # 4 child is 22 today) and other
stuff, and then Tuesday will be heading down to my mom's for several
days. Her older sister passed away this evening. The memorial service
will be next Saturday, the 22nd, I believe, after which I will probably
return home, depending on how my mom is doing. She and her sister have
talked on the phone every day for the last several years, so this will
be a rough time for her.
Blabbing away here. Eek! LOL So, that's what's going on with me. I'm
not really 'missing' - just displaced?
luv&stuff,
Denise

it sounds like life is at its profoundest again, with its jumble of giggles
and tears, happy and sad hugs, sweet and bittersweet. sounds like this
weekend is going to be emotionally draining for you, hon.
try to squeeze in a quiet moment for yourself, an unrequiring (of you)
moment for yourself---a birdsong, sunrise or sunset, the sound of raindrops
on metal or the smell of coffee brewing, the feeling of being luxuriously
draped by water in the shower or the savory first bite of something you
enjoy eating. it doesn't have to be a long, quietly personal moment.
have a safe trip and we'll just be waiting right here for your return.
((((((((((denise's mom, denise and family)))))))) my condolences on the
loss of your aunt.
lovingly,
kate
