Since being diagnosed my sx have involved the usual joints.
I recently have bee having stiffness/aching in the lower back sometimes in evening but almost always in the morning. Eventually it subsides but it's persistence and intensity concern me.....Resonate with anyone else?

Like Barry White hitting a low note, baby.
Be glad that you have good times of the day - at this point
for me it's nearly continual. Ice packs help for immediate
relief, but the logistics of sitting on an ice pack when
you're driving a car in sub-freezing weather are tricky to
say the least.
Ironically enough some stretches and exercising can help,
but I realize that advice has got its limits.
Good luck with it. The good news is that PA can be capricious.
Just as mysteriously as it gets worse, it can also get better,
so your main concern for now is to limit the amount of joint
damage the inflammation causes during the flare. My dad had
a bout of it before I was born, but it was treated with
aspirin and amazingly enough he made a full recovery and
never suffered any return visit.

Bruce,
I think it is this terrible weather we have been all having.
I wish you a better day today.
