Thanx for all the Christmas Cards, it truly made my Christmas so much
better.  I had thought this Christmas would be better but I lost Dusky
(Daddy's girl - our chocolate poodle) in August then Frances and Jeanne
pretty well trashed our house (tho contents were spared).  I'm thankfully in
a FEMA provided travel trailer in our driveway and, as you can see, am back
up computer wise.  It will be months in renovation via an SBA loan but I'm
doin' fine.  Even surprised myself by starting to remove all of the carpet
in the house with willpower and Larry's Swiss Army knife!  OK, so the strips
are only about 2-1/2' wide but I get 'em to the curb on trash day!!  tee
hee!!  I'm about 50% done so that when I have contractors come in it's one
less thing they'll put in their estimate.  The boys came over and removed
all the custom shelves (three walls of bookcases - floor to ceiling) and
packers came and packed me out on the 16th of December.  Our eldest son,
Bart, is taking all of the kitchen cabinets, counter tops and sink and some
of the undamaged ceiling and paneling as his house sustained far more damage
than ours.  Soooo, this Christmas could have been really tough!  I feel so
grateful that so many of you took the time to send a card and greeting -
makes me feel Larry is still looking out for me through you.  On Christmas
night I went down to Larry's bench and sat for quite awhile thinking of him
and all of you ... Gosh, I'm so lucky!  I send my very best wishes for a
wonderful 2005 to all of you and please know I keep you and those you love
in my heart.
