Bad fall

I was going to say I've fallen and I can't get up--but with my daughter's
help I did get up.  Putting chemicals in the pool, I stupidly slipped--and
in my struggles not to fall in the pool which I should have gracefully
done--I fell on the pool deck.  Nothing is broken, thank God, but I have
massive contusions from my hip to my knee--all gorgeous colors of bright
purple--which is affecting my mobility--not to mention hurting my wrists and
elbows attempting to not fall--such twists and turns you have never seen
outside the circus!!  Well, if it were warmer, I could go to my Red Hat
meeting with my legs bare as they are purple enough to do!!  Anyway, think
of me--

((((Alix))))

Ouch! How is it that kids can fall so gracefully and adults manage to hit
every part of their bodies on the way down? It's just not fair. I hope
you're feeling better soon and didn't really damage anything.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Alix}}}}}}}}}}}   <-- quick healing hugs     Falling into
the pool would probably have been less painful, but under the
circumstances our minds just don't think fast enough, do they?  Glad
nothing is broken.  I'll add you to my list when I'm lighting a candle
today.

My God Alix!! What are you trying to do. A copy of what I did last
Thursday evening. Hope your OK. Between having RA and getting older it
can make life hell. I did see a Doctor yesterday and I'm OK just a
little sore still but glad I didn't do more damage than I did. Take it
easy and I do hope you get to feeling better.

Oh Alix, ouch. I feel for you. I hope you are doing better today. I have
been thinking of you since the fall.

I am thankful that nothing was broken and glad your daughter was there to
help you back up again.

I hope  your booboos are healing nicely and quickly.

Damn, Alix, what a lousy thing to have happen.  I'm so sorry.  It always amazes
me that kids can fall down or off of anything and pop back up without a mark.
I can't even remember those days.  The blessing is that you haven't broken
anything.

Keep in touch my friend, you're in my prayers.
