how long do you hold a DMARD when you've got some virus?  Iask because while
I am over the most of this stomach bug, the queasy stomach remains.  I'll
think I'm ok and eat a small meal (like yesterday - and it was small) and
then my stomach is queasy for the rest of the day.  The big downside is I
held my mtx this week and I've held my Arava for 5 days so far.   I'd planned
to wait until I was all better before restarting it, but I am *really*
beginning to hurt.  And I don't know how long this part is going to drag out.
My mom said she had something similar that drug out for a couple of weeks.

I don't hold DMARDS unless I have an active infection or am vomiting too
much to keep down the oral ones. Usually after a few days of abx I am able
to start my Enbrel again.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Have you called to talk to your RD about
this yet?

I didn't talk to my current RD - all the previous ones have wanted me to hold
at least the mtx.  I held the Arava as I had enough intestinal turmoil
without it!  Fortunately, things finally calmed down enough on Sunday that I
dared to take it again and don't seem to have paid for it TOO much.  Damn
stomach remains a bit queasy though............

(((((((((nann)))))))))))  don't know about holding dmards.  i'm no help
there.  have you tried drinking a bit of ginger tea for that queasiness?  it
sometimes helps settle the tummy thing out.
