Hi all,
Stitches came out yesterday. Doc is amazed at the range of motion I have
with the arm already. Vehemently warned me to take it easy with it as there
is still much healing going on inside. Feels so good about my condition he
decided to go on vacation....lol, ya right! Took Mike to bowling lesson and
everybody gathered around to see the scar. Pretty funny. Off work 'till the
first of the year and then light duty for a month. Revisit doc in 6 weeks.
This being off work pretty much sucks by the way. Am generally bored. Don't
see how I can ever totally retire, I'd be a basketcase rather quickly. There
are things that need to be done, just have to force myself to do them. Love
my afternoon nap though!
Hope everyone has a great holidays!

janers, janers, janers,
What am I going to do with you!?? :-)
Might be a bit late for the good boy routine, perhaps that's why I have buy
myself a present each year! lol by the way, last year was new balls and
clubs. Maybe this year I''ll get me a new putter! The old one didn't work
too well last year and I'm seeing a little rust develop on the shaft. I also
lost most of the new balls I bought and better get some more. The used ones
I found work ok, but it's always nice to whip out some new ones now and
again.

Congrats Gary. I get that privilege on Weds evening when the cast comes off
and I CAN'T WAIT. My friend the garbage bag is going to actually get used for
garbage and I'll be able to get rid of the itch growing under this cast. I
figure my arm is growing mold at this point.
Amazing isn't that something as simple as a shower can make us anticipate like
this?

Gary, please do very careful not to do anything to cause damage. I am
really paying for doing something I should not have with my shoulder and
arm. Had an MRI on Wednesday to see if the rotator cuff is torn again. If
so, another surgery. If not, will try injections. Take care please.

Hi, my old(er) friends ;)
I see here some discussions on shoulders surgeries...
I walk now after many years again, but always wish for more ;)
I cannot wash my hair, always have to get my mom or sister to do
it for me and it gets to be a burden (correct spelling? my
english isnt that good ;))
I dont know of any shoulder surgeries possibilities, so if you
can post few words, especially if from first or second-hand
experience ;)
Is there any way (or maybe a tool instead of surgery?) that I
could one day again be able to wash my hair by myself?
thank you a lot in advance!
p.s. can you share what is it that you did with your shoulder
that you shouldn't have?

Once you get retired for real, it amazing how the time fills up. Some days
coffee and the newspaper get us past noon.
Today, Charlie went grocery shopping at Beale AFB. He left at ten this
morning and just now got home. Nearly six pm. And he wonders why I won't
go grocery shopping with him. Not that I got all that much done in the last
eight hours either. I did clean out the refrigerator, and for me that is a
big day.

Great news, Gary! Now, you listen to what the doc says and take it easy -
you don't want to be messing up a promising future here, do you?
Meanwhile, it sounds like you need to find a few new hobbies - stuff besides
golf, bowling and DisneyWorld! :)

Hi Nann,
Perhaps going back to some old ones may work too. The past couple of years I
just have not had enough time on my hands to do much of any kind of "free
time" activities. Then, suddenly, all I have is time to fill.

I only meant until your elbow is better - if I hear of you trying to golf or
bowl before you doc says ok, I'll find anohter use for that golf club!

LOL!
It's about 3 degrees outside right now- no golf 'till late march.
My son Mike is the bowler, I haven't in years. Back won't tolerate it
anymore.
By the way, he just turned 14 and rolled his first scratch 600 series! Big
celebration.
Golf clubs are not made for your purpose! lol
Have a great Christmas and New Year,
GaryZ :-)
