I am hoping someone can help me with this  pain problem. The last couple of
days I literally cannot walk.  Now my feet hurt all the time with neuropathy
and OA but this is a different pain. I hurt so bad just above my arch in the
bone or muscle area. when I stand I cannot even balance myself to stand up
they just give way on me. Ive been reading online about foot problems and
have come to decide it is somekind of arch or ankle problem. My pain meds
dont even touch the pain
I have an appt with my RD on Thursday and I am hoping that he may be able to
shed some  light on the subject.  That is if I can stand it til then.  can a
fallen arch hurt like that? I hav ent had an arch in ages so I assume they
have fallen years ago. I thin k it is really to low for my ankle but then
who knows. also it is in both feet. could it be cause by some kind of
deficiency>
thanks friends

I am so sorry you are having this problem. I wish I could help, but you are in
my prayers.  Pain is no fun.  God Bless, Audie

I get a neuropathy in my feet from time to time which is help with B6. You
have to be careful not to take too much or for more than a month or two as
it can do damage as well. But I take it on my drs advice.

If it were in one foot only, I would say, yes, a fallen arch could hurt that
bad.  But both feet?  I don't know.  Although......I seem to remember both
of mine went at the same time.  Had to have cortisone shots in both one day
in the ER.  The day before we had played tennis!  Man, those were the days.

Long story short, I hope you can hang in there until Thursday.  You will be
in our prayers.

Hugs, DeeTee

Is it possible it is the plantar fascia area?  Mine is so sore right now I
am barely walking on my foot even after 2 cortisone shots 2 weeks apart.
That can hurt the area of the arch or the heel.

you may need a podiatrist to figure out and treat what is going on, hopefully
your RD can help you though.  Do you have any Sore-No-More or anything like
that around?  It might help cut down the pain a bit.

Meanwhile, we have Feta and Sharp Provolone in the frig.  Would either of
those go well with your whine?

I'll bring the crackers, okay?  Let us know what/if you find out from
your RD, Janice.  I go through some excruciating foot stuff, but no
answers yet.

You might have to go to a pediatrist (sp). I had problems with my arches and
a high instep. I had to have special insoles (can't think of the right name
right now) for my shoes.

I used to get really bad pain when walking. I think it had to do with torn
arches (of course brain dead and can't think of the proper name for it
either tonight).

I hope you get help soon for it and that the pain will leave you. I know
that is miserable. I am wishing you the best.
