yeah, that pretty much goes along with what we've been hearing here in the
states.  Some folks around here have been asking why the US FDA continued to
rely on that plant for flu vaccine when they knew there were so many
problems, but I really don't know how realistic it is to expect them to
coerce independent companies into producing the vaccine.

Fortunately for me, my new PCP had a shot to give me, though he questioned me
about my "qualifications" for getting one first!  He agreed the Arava and mtx
put me in the high risk group, esp. when coupled with my history of
developing secondary infections when I get the flu - even pre-arthritis.  
Told me they were threatening to put doctors in jail around here if they gave
the shot to unqualified patients.
