To anyone joining us for the first time, welcome and let me say that we as a group are sorry you had need to find us but also glad that you did just that. Also wanted to say that the holidays seemed to have brought out the trolls and spammers and other bottom feeders that come out only in the dark. Some attack the group as a whole. Some are attacking specific people because they can. There is a technique called killfiling that will allow you to read the newsgroup and filter out any troll you do not want to see. If you see the word *plonk* it usually means that one person has chosen to killfile or filter out a certain person. For me, it makes my stress level less and with RA, keeping stress lower is helpful. As to the spammers selling their snake oil, we have been around a long time and wasting money on false hopes will be pointed out as foolish whenever we can do that for those new to the disease. There is no such thing as a quick fix or cure. At least not yet.
