Maybe it is the rain.  Whatever, the reason, my hands just are not working this
morning.  Jamie is actually doing all my typing for me this morning as anything
more than a few line is killing my fingewrs.  I am going to get out my paraffin
bath but realizeI am out of wax.  Called walgreens and they dont have any.  I
thought we had a discussion lasst year about using regular paraffin but I can't
seem to dredge it up on google.  Can you sue regular wax or is it too hot?

Well for now I think i have to take some pred as my hands are to sore to frive
and I am typing with one index and thumb.  Wonder what happened overnight to
mae my hands so bad?

Are you getting part of this storm we are getting.  Nasty weather.

You can use canning paraffin, add mineral oil I think it is.  I believe but
am not certain it lowers the melting point.  So it doesn't have to get as
hot.  But watch the temperature anyway.

Weren't you very stressed out the other day (like the day before
yesterday?).  Then found the gift from your secret Santa?  Maybe that's
part of it?  I know when I get stressed, it doesn't necessarily hurt
that day but a couple of days later.

Also, when we get weather, I go off about 2 days before it gets here.
I'm very accurate in Fall and Winter, prognosticating the weather that
is.  Not so much Spring and Summer.

Here's hoping you get to feeling better soon.  Oh, not sure about the
Parafin (regular vs another type).  I'll look it up and see if I can't
find something for you, okay?

According to Shopping.com   http://tinyurl.com/6j876 , it doesn't seem
to be any different.  They sell Paraffin wax, and it isn't listed as
for hands and feet, just paraffin wax.  I'll keep looking, and see if I
can't find something else.

it should be absolutely ok, melinda.  i use canning wax/paraffin wax in my
paraffin dip machine.  i also use mineral and lavender oil.  haven't tried
the aloe yet, but i bet that would feel good.

It worked, Kate.  It was a little hotter than usual which I actually loved.
Pred is now kicking in.  I hate that drug but it is so effective.  I just can't
imagine that my hands are this swollen because of the storms.  Can't figure
this out at all-

I sure hope this is not going to be another pred winter or I am going to way
250 before spring

glad the paraffin worked with aloe for you.  now i have to try that.<smile>
pred definitely falls into the catagory of love/hate relationships, it
seems.(((((((((melinda))))))))    i can't imagine the weather/barametric
pressure being the main culprit in your hands swelling.  have you been using
your hands more than usual or in a more stressful way?---like gift wrapping
a lot of things?  and how are your feet doing/are they swelling a little?
maybe it's time to give your rd a call about it?--if the swelling doesn't go
down, i mean.
