Anyone succumbed to this delight yet?
Hubby did on Sunday night and was up-chucking all night and Monday and now I
have got it!It takes up to 48 hours to develop.
It's horrible but at least I haven't got the diarrhoea part thank goodness.
It just comes on with no warning, one minute you are fine and the next you
are shouting for Hughie!
Have had just a glass of water over the last 6 hours but the headache is not
pleasant!
There's more about it here
http://www.shb.ie/content-1259747958_1.cfm
but thankfully it only lasts up to 48 hours.
Oh well, back to me basin.

Connie, only you can make vomiting funny!lol

I am so sorry you are both sick. I hate those short term stomach flu things.
They don't seem short term while you're living with them.

I hope you are feeling better soonest.

Bingo - I wonder if that is what I had on Sunday Connie, when I ruined the
stair carpet?  I put it down to a migraine, but haven't had a migraine in
years and years, and it wasn't really a classic.  I felt grotty until
yesterday evening with it.

The headache was not nice, but the sickness had to be the worst.
Commiserations to both of you and hope you're both well soon.

i know that's thoroughly unpleasant, connie.  (i have had similar
experience.)  feel better soon, sweetie.

in this, you're lucky you are not an american, connie.  rather than shouting
for "hughie", you'd be singing "big bad john" and "hang down your head, tom
dooley" to your basin.  and here, we shout for "RALPH (cramden)" and
"(wyatt) EARP!"  you know us americans, a tad excessive in how we do many
things and a bit hollywood-ized about it. ;-)
