Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful suggestions about PePe.  I
borrowed a kennel and he has slept in the kennel the past two nights.  The
best sleep I've had in a week.  LOL

I was amazed.  When I opened the door he flew in.  I've put one of my
favorite afgans and a towel he can snuggle with in there for him.  He loves
it.  He even sleeps better.  He doesn't wake up when I get up with Niki.

The poopy thing is much better.  He is going outside now and I am sure to
give him much praise when he goes.  I've been going out with him a lot of
the times just to see if he's going.  I'll be glad when I feel confident
enough that he is going when he goes out.

Anyway, thanks again.

I'm so glad for him and for you.

I know it sounds bad to put a dog in a cage overnight, but that really isn't
how they usually see it.

Still if I was worried about housebreaking, I'd have picked another name for
the little guy.

LOL  I know he came with a name.

Debbie - I've kenneled my golden for 13 years now, rather he kennels himself
now. It's his home and bed. But as a puppy it was a life saver now it's his
haven.

Thanks Diane.  I wonder if PePe had not been kenneled before.  He seems so
comfortable and just flies in there when I open the door.
