Newsgroup Spambuster - 28 Nov 2004 07:03 GMT
I have received several emails from some of you here in the group
wondering if I am ok or if I am mad at someone, etc.

No, I am not mad at anyone and I DO care about each of you and what all
is going on in  your lives.   I continue to pray for you all and think
of you so often.   So please don't think I have forgotten about you all
or that I don't care about what is going on!

Life has just been a bit rocky and I haven't had the energy to
participate in all of my groups, especially the larger ones like this
one.

I haven't been online much at all and when I am, I do peek in and see
who needs extra prayer and such.

I have been having a bit of a rough time on the health front (as all of
us are way too familiar with!), and have been literally seeing my lung
doctor every 2 days for the last couple of weeks.   Since I was in the
hospital at the end of october, I have been back in twice for a day or
two here and there and almost had to go back in one more time, but my
lung doctor has been working with me to keep me home as he knows how
much I hate the hospital.   He has been very aggressive in treating my
lungs and sinus stuff which is contributing to the lung stuff.   I also
in the middle of all of this went into a major flare of my RA and there
have been several days where it has felt like someone beat me with a
bat.   Uggggh!   I think alot of the RA stuff and even the lung stuff
has to do with the nasty weather we have been having and the loooooong
stretches of 100% humidity.   Although,  my rd has decided to do some
additional testing as he says I am showing signs of other autoimmune
stuff and wants to make sure he isn't missing anything.   He is checking
into lupus, vasculitis, and gout to name a few.     In any case, I am
still plugging along and not getting a whole lot of sleep what with the
constant coughing all the time and then the wheezing along with the RA
flare.   So, have been spending lots and lots of time out on the sofa
and in the recliner and really just want to stretch out in my bed and
get a good nights sleep.   I am soooooooo tired all the time.   Sooner
or later this all will pass and I will be back to the group on a more
regular basis.   For now, I check into a couple of my smallest groups
and that is about it.    I definitely am still thinking of all of you
and praying for you, so please know that I am still around and that I
still care about you all!!!

Hugs!

I've been trying to remember when you last posted and wondering about you.
These brain-dead weeks make tracking folks difficult!  I hope and pray that
you improve and continue to rejoice that you have such a good RD.  Hang in
there, girl.

(btw, my soon-to-be RD up here just got a partner from Ann Arbor and UM)

{{{{Donna}}}}}}}}, It sounds like a "stinkin'lousy" time for you. Is it
worse than it got last winter? Sounds to me like it is. Are you on O2?
How much or long if you are? Boy, i wish there was something i could do
to help. If there was you would let me know /// right...

I really do feel your frustration and understand exactly what it feels
like. For me and i suspect for you depression becomes another factor
just making things even worse. It takes me awhile to recognize the
depression when in the middle of it all. Once i do a few of the problems
become more manageable and i am able to at least recognize any
improvement, small as it usually is.

The fatigue is the big one that drives so much of the other crap. Now, i
am able to get about 3 hours straight at least once each night and that
is enough to make a difference. I stopped all meds for sleep and related
issues and have gone back to managing some simple herbal teas and
visualization techniques. It is helping significantly better than any
med I have used over the last 4 years.

You are in my thoughts each day now and i can only hope that some
improvement shows up soon.

We haven't forgotten about you either.  Just know there is a lot of loving
and caring here for you even when you can't muster participation.

Sending angel hugs for a good nights sleep.
